  • The Client
  • dsp offers its customers individual ERP systems for controlling complex company processes. The modular structure of their ERP solution enables a high degree of flexibility. For example, processes can be used in the areas of article management & purchasing, customer management & sales, production, warehouse & logistics, interface management and many others. In doing so, dsp places a high value on intuitive handling of its ERP solutions for users.
  • The Project
  • The team at dsp approached us after our in-house .NET MAUI workshop with a request to help them extend their own dsp ERP system to a warehouse connection as part of our Expert-as-a-Service approach. For us, this is a good opportunity to provide targeted support through knowledge transfer or development services where bottlenecks exist, despite our own projects.
  • For dsp, we were thus able to lay the foundation for a .NET MAUI app, which will be driven by dsp's own team in the further course of the project. This also included the connection of Werock handheld scanners based on Android as well as the connection to ERP interfaces, while dsp took care of UI/UX design and requirements management.
  • dsp now also has a connection via app that accelerates and simplifies goods movements in the warehouse. For this purpose, the app connects to the dsp ERP and transmits the current storage status. Using Werock handheld scanners, the item is recorded and the storage location is determined via a barcode. Thus, the system now knows where which goods are located.
  • Furthermore, we contributed project management (e.g. maintenance of the task board) as well as implementation consulting to the success of the project. In total, our activities were about 70% development and 30% consulting.
  • It was a great project in which we were able to contribute our entire knowledge and expertise. The consultation with the project management was also always professional and on an equal footing, so that in the end a successful project was recorded for both parties.

We already knew Cayas Software from a joint workshop and that's how we came to start a joint project. The quality we then received in the development of the warehouse logistics app was absolutely professional. The cooperation with our project manager Martin was also characterized by respect and friendliness. We can only recommend Cayas and will also consider working with them in the future if we have a similar project again.
